In Bronx, New York, a homeless cat and her kittens were discovered in an outdoor shelter. The mother cat was struggling to provide her litter with adequate nourishment, resulting in the death of two of her kittens and one fading away during transportation to the veterinarian. The only surviving kitten, Kenzo, fought to survive despite being weak, and clung onto his mother for dear life. Little Wanderers NYC stepped in to rescue the pair, and they were placed with a foster family where they received the love and care needed to thrive.
Kenzo and his mother wasted no time in getting comfortable in their new home. They were delighted with their cozy beds, blankets, and an array of toys. Lexi, in particular, was thrilled to have access to plenty of food and a clean space to raise her beloved kitten.

With his newfound size and strength, he’s beginning to venture out and explore his surroundings, however, his loving mother, Lexi, is keeping a watchful eye on him to ensure he doesn’t get into any mischief.
Without any hesitation, she lovingly calls out to her kitten to come to her, eager to carry out her maternal obligations. The friendly calico is gradually becoming more comfortable since she knows that her and her kitten are secure. She lavishes her adorable baby with affectionate licks and embraces as much as possible.
